Obituary: Services will be at 2:00PM Wednesday at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Lexington. She was the widow of B F (Buck) Thomas and preceded in death by daughter, Clara Wyer. Survivors are son, Finis Thomas; daughters, Laverne Eason, Mary Butler, Geninda Speer; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Obituary: Services for Bennie Mae Thomas, 95, were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 18 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Lexington. She was the widow of B.F. “Buck” Thomas and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Clara Wyer. Mrs. Thomas died Saturday, June 14 at Douglas Nursing Home. She was a member of the Howse Baptist Church in Atwood. Survivors include a son, Finis Thomas of Atwood; three daughters, Lavern Eason of Lexington, Mary Butler of Horn Lake, Mississippi and Geninda Speer of Atwood; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. On 20 Oct 1927 when Bennie Mae was 19, she married Benjamin Fines THOMAS, son of James W. THOMAS & Fannie Bell THETFORD (1884-1942), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 2 Jun 1909. At the age of 80, Benjamin Fines died in 1990. Buried in 1990 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Buck". They had the following children:
