She is survived by a son, Clint Scott; a daughter, Doris (Larry) Joyner; 10 grandchildren, David (Brenda) Birchett of Knoxville, Rick (Carolyn) Birchett of Meridian, Mississippi, Keith (Tammy) Birchett of Southhaven, Mississippi, Kathy (Dallas) Lawrence and Boa Nguyen, both of Memphis, and Lisa (John) Dukes, Sherry Joyner, Jeff (Angela) Scott, Tracie (Eric) Mashburn and Marie Hale, all of Jackson; eight great-grandchildren, Stephanie Birchett, Luke Birchett, Trevor Birchett, Katelyn Lawrence, Kara Dukes, Mark Dukes, Madison Scott and Peyton Scott; a brother, Harlon Springer; five sisters, Lola Rosser, Mildred Bridges, Polly Simpson, Lorene Springer and Alva Jean Boyd; and a special friend, Lessie Hale. They had the following children:
