Resided in Bemis, Madison County, Tennessee in Jun 2003. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in Oct 2004. Obituary: Hester Adell Scott, 95, known and loved by many as Mama Scott, died peacefully Saturday, June 10. Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with Bro. Ed Ballard and Bro. David Powell officiating. Burial followed in the Sellers Cemetery. Pallbearers serving were her grandchildren. Mrs. Scott, daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian Springer, was born on October 26, 1910, in Clarksburg. She was a longtime devoted member of Bemis Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sid Scott; a daughter, Joyce Birchett; a great-grandson, Kevin Nguyen; three brothers, Willie Springer, Henry Springer and Wayne Springer; and a sister, Vera Collins. She is survived by a son, Clint Scott; a daughter, Doris (Larry) Joyner; 10 grandchildren, David (Brenda) Birchett of Knoxville, Rick (Carolyn) Birchett of Meridian, Mississippi, Keith (Tammy) Birchett of Southhaven, Mississippi, Kathy (Dallas) Lawrence and Boa Nguyen, both of Memphis, and Lisa (John) Dukes, Sherry Joyner, Jeff (Angela) Scott, Tracie (Eric) Mashburn and Marie Hale, all of Jackson; eight great-grandchildren, Stephanie Birchett, Luke Birchett, Trevor Birchett, Katelyn Lawrence, Kara Dukes, Mark Dukes, Madison Scott and Peyton Scott; a brother, Harlon Springer; five sisters, Lola Rosser, Mildred Bridges, Polly Simpson, Lorene Springer and Alva Jean Boyd; and a special friend, Lessie Hale. They had the following children:

213. Paul SCOTT. Born on 15 Sep 1926. At the age of 75, Paul died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 24 Nov 2001. Resided in Selmer, McNairy County, Tennessee in Nov 2001. Obituary: Services for Paul Scott, 75, will be Monday, November 26, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Chapel in Selmer. He is survived by wife Louise Holland Scott; daughters, Debra Lynne Forsyth, Tammy Louise Browder and sons, Stephen Paul Scott, Victor Glyn Scott and John Houston Scott Obituary: Paul E. Scott, 75, of Selmer, died Saturday, November 24, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 26, at Shackelford Funeral Home. Malcom George officiated. The body was cremated. Mr. Scott was the son of the late Elijah E. and Dora Abby Douglas Scott. He was retired from Owens Corning, a member of 4th Street Church of Christ, and an Army Sgt. for World War II Pacific Theatre. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Sid, Curtis and R.V. He is survived by his wife, Louise Holland Scott; two daughters, Debra Lynn Forsyth of Selmer and Tammy Louise Browder of Northport, Washington; three sons, Stephan Paul Scott of Murfreesboro, Victor Glyn Scott of San Antonio, Texas, and John Houston Scott of Christiana; and nine grandchildren, Brent Michael Scott, Amanda Louise Forsyth, Timothy Edward Scott, Scott David Browder, Sarah Lynne Forsyth, Alicia Marie Browder, Thomas Paul Browder, Kelsey Amber Scott and Lydia Grace Scott. Paul married Louise HOLLAND. They had the following children:
