59. Anna E. DOUGLAS. Born on 13 Oct 1872 in Tennessee. At the age of 27, Anna E. died in Tennessee on 20 Dec 1899. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880. Alias/AKA: "Babe". Obituary: The all wise God saw fit in His infinite wisdom to remove from our midst our friend and neighbor Mrs. Anna Gibson, who departed this life December 20, 1899. She was born October 13, 1872. She was daughter of F.H. and Nancy Douglass, and was married to J.F. Gibson, October, 1898, to whom was born one child, who preceded her to the better world. She bore her sickness with great fortitude and professed a hope in Christ five or six months before her death, but never joined any church. She leaves a kind husband and a widowed mother, two sisters and three brothers and a host of relations to ??? her death. I hope their loss is her eternal gain. We could enumerate many things that would characterize our dear sister as a child of God, but suffice to say that she had the Bible signs of a Christian and we believe her spirit is now hovering around the great white thrown. We would say to the bereaved husband, relatives, and friends, grieve not as those who have no hope, but let us ask the Lord to give us the grace to say, "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." She is far better off than any of us. Dearest wife thee has left us. And our less we deeply feel. But 'tis God that has bereft us, He can our sorrows heal. A FRIEND. 60. Sidney Albert DOUGLAS. Born on 23 Jul 1875 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 43, Sidney Albert died in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee on 30 Dec 1918. Buried on 31 Dec 1918 in Rosser Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900.
