First Generation

1. Dorcas SMITH. Born ca 1750.

Dorcas first married James DOUGLAS, son of John DOUGLAS & Mary ?. Born about 1745. At the age of 45, James died in Franklin County, North Carolina about 1790.

They had the following children:
i. Archibald Gray. Born in 1778. At the age of 79, Archibald Gray died in 1857.

Archibald Gray married Rosanna EDWARDS, daughter of Daniel EDWARDS.
2 ii. John Rabon
3 iii. Abel (1778-1857)
4 iv. James (1780-1821)

Dorcas second married Thomas MILLS.
