On 11 Sep 1970 when Gail was 18, she married Danny Joe HAYWOOD, son of Joseph Warren HAYWOOD (1930-) & Juanita Evelyn LAWS (1934-), in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 17 Aug 1951.

They had the following children:
i. Brian Daniel. Born on 15 May 1971.
ii. Joseph Owen. Born on 4 Dec 1972.
iii. Garrett Dee. Born on 20 Aug 1974.
iv. Melena Gayle. Born on 4 Aug 1976.

On 10 Oct 1998 when Melena Gayle was 22, she married Warren VERITY.
