Obituary: 1Rev. L. H. Cotton of Milan conducted funeral services for Cecil Cornelius Derryberry at the home in Milan last week. Mr. Derryberry died Wednesday at his home following a long illness. He was a son of the late Elijah H. and Lottie Amanda Shipman Derryberry, and was born January 12, 1874, in Carroll County, and later moved to Henderson County where he lived for a number of years. Several years ago he and his family moved to Gibson County where they have since made their home. In 1892 Mr. Derryberry was happily married to Miss Adella Rogers and to his union were born several children. Three of these, Sula, Estus, and Ulah, have preceded their father in death. The children surviving are Onnie of Wildersville, Velman and Clifton of Jackson, Mrs. Ruby Douglas of Milan, and Mrs. T.H. (Beatrice) Fly of Humboldt. The remains were brought to the Jones Cemetery near Wildersville for interment. In 1892 when Cecil Cornelius was 17, he married Adella ROGERS. Born in 1876. At the age of 86, Adella died in 1962. Buried in 1962 in Jones Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
