Marriage Announcement: Brandy Elizabeth Hastings and Corey Paul Bartholomew, both of Clarksburg, will marry on Saturday, June 1, at 5 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the Clarksburg Church of Christ. A reception will follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Murphy of Clarksburg. Brandy is the daughter of Danny and Elizabeth Hastings of Clarksburg. Her grandparents are Mrs. Victorine Pritchard and the late Mr. Lois Ray Pritchard of Clarksburg, and Mrs. and Mrs. Porter Hastings of Nashville. She is a 2002 graduate from Jackson State Community College with a degree in Nursing. She will be employed at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital as a cardiac nurse beginning in July. Corey is the son of Larry Don and Angie Bartholomew of Clarksburg. His grandparents are Mrs. Brooksie Orr and the late Mr. Thomas N. Orr of Clarksburg, and Mrs. Marion Bartholomew and the late Mr. Paul Bartholomew of Clarksburg. He is a 1997 graduate from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He is currently employed as a Design specialist with BellSouth. All family and friends are invited.

Dixie is a 1995 graduate of Clarksburg High School and a 2000 graduate of Union University. She is employed at First Bank of Lexington. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Juanita Atkinson of Clarksburg and the late Martin Atkinson, Loyd Ray Hays of Wildersville, and the late Mrs. Mary Nell Hays.
Jacky is a 1995 graduate of Lexington High School. He is employed at Tennalum of Jackson. The wedding is planned for 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 26 next door to the home of Dixie's parents, at 1065 Concord Road. All friends and relatives are invited to attend this celebration.
