160. Basil BRANDON. Born in 1905. At the age of 89, Basil died on 26 Dec 1994.

Basil married Emma ELROD.

161. Hesta Marie BRANDON. Born on 16 Oct 1907. At the age of 89, Hesta Marie died on 16 Aug 1997.

Hesta Marie married Oklahoma Homer RUSSELL. Born in 1908. At the age of 82, Oklahoma Homer died on 9 Feb 1990. Alias/AKA: "Homer".

They had the following children:

ii. Nell Marie. Born in 1929. At the age of 1, Nell Marie died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Buried in 1930 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

George Alex married Maurine CARRADINE.

163. Thelma Erin BRANDON. Born in 1912. Resided in Baytown, Texas in Jan 2001.

On 29 Jan 1934 when Thelma Erin was 22, she married George L. WILLIAMS, son of James WILLIAMS & Myrtle V. RINGOLD (1890-). Born on 1 Jun 1913.

They had the following children:
i. Robert Lee. Born in Dec 1934.

ii. Kate Elizabeth. Born in Jun 1936.

Kate Elizabeth married Jack BEEBE.

iii. Freeda Montez. Born in Sep 1938.

Freeda Montez married Tommy REED.

iv. George L.. Born in 1941.

v. Jack Odle. Born in 1942.

vi. Wilburn Milton. Born in 1944.


In 1944, George L. Williams moved his family from Carroll County, Tennessee, to Jasper, Alabama. He resided in Walker County for 13 years. He then moved his family (three youngest sons) to Baytown, Harris County, Texas, in 1957. As of 1986, he and his wife still resided in Baytown. George was a heavy equipment operator and in 1967 went to the Persian Gulf with the Houston based Brown and Root Contractors as a Supervisor working on the oil pipe lines.

164. Cecil D. BRANDON. Born on 19 Jun 1913 in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, Cecil D. died in Tacoma, Washington on 2 Jan 2001. Buried on 6 Jan 2001 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Milton, Washington in 2000.

Obituary: Cecil D. Brandon, 87, of Milton, Washington, died Tuesday, January 2, at St. Joseph Hospital n Tacoma, Washington. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin. Bro. Virgil Hale officiated. Burial followed in Sellers Hill Cemetery in Clarksburg. Mr. Brandon, the son of the late Milton Brandon and Telitha Johnson, was born June 19, 1913, in Clarksburg. He lived in Carroll County until 1931, then moved to Obion Co., where he lived until his retirement form Brown Shoe Co. in 1975. After his retirement, he moved to Seattle, Washington, area to be near his sons. He had worked as a farmer, grocery store clerk, stock room clerk for Brown Shoe Co., produce truck drive route driver for Moore Fruit Co., and finally with his sons in a small business in the Seattle area. He also enjoyed many hobbies in his lifetime, such as leather working, farming, rockhounding, motorcycle riding, traveling. After retiring, he traveled extensively in the U.S., made a trip to Mexico and visited his son in Japan. On November 19, 1932, he married Mary Lucille Bobbit, who preceded him in death in December of 1983. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Homer Brandon, G.A. Brandon, Weldon Brandon and Basil Brandon. Mr. Brandon was a member of Berea Church of Christ in Rives. He is survived by his wife, Belva Brandon, whom he married on May 9, 1987; two sons, Rayburn Brandon of Ronald, Washington, and Curtis (Gene) Brandon of Auburn, Washington; a brother, Elmer Brandon of Clarksville [Clarksburg, Tennessee], two sisters, Brooksie Orr of Huntingdon and Thelma Johnson of Baytown, Texas; four grandchildren, Paul D. Brandon, John C. Brandon, Mark D. Brandon, and Cathy Boyle; and a great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Boyce.

On 19 Nov 1932 when Cecil D. was 19, he first married Lucille BOBBITT. Lucille died in Dec 1983.

They had the following children:
225 i. Dorris Rayburn
226 ii. Curtis Eugene
iii. Sarah Marie. Born in 1934. At the age of 1, Sarah Marie died in 1935. Buried in 1935 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.


On 9 May 1987 when Cecil D. was 73, he second married Belva ?.

165. Nathan Elmer BRANDON. Born in 1919. Resided in Paris, Henry County, Tennessee. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jan 2000.

Nathan Elmer married Marcille TUCKER, daughter of Wade TUCKER (1897-) & Vallie BREWER (1897-). Born on 13 Feb 1927 in Senath, Missouri.

They had the following children:
227 i. Michael Johns (1944-)
228 ii. Sharon Elise

166. Brooksie BRANDON. Born in 1921. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2001.

Brooksie married Thomas Newton ORR, son of Carl Thomas ORR (1890-1980) & Vernie MITCHELL (1900-1961). Born on 22 Apr 1921 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Thomas Newton died on 26 Apr 1996.

They had the following children:
229 i. Thomas Ritchie (1951-)
230 ii. Angela Kay (1955-)
