On 16 Nov 1962 when Lindy Grey was 23, he married Charlotte Ann VERNON, daughter of James Keaton VERNON (1912-) & Vonnell HAMPTON (1919-). Born on 20 Dec 1940.

They had the following children:
i. Shem Vincent. Born on 30 Aug 1963.

Shem Vincent married Shelia Monon REYNOLDS. Born on 19 Jan 1965.
192 ii. Shawn Denise (1965-)
iii. Cindy Gail. Born on 7 Aug 1959.

On 9 Feb 1979 when Cindy Gail was 19, she married Mark WILLIAMS.
