Otha Lee second married Alice Leona PETERSON, daughter of James Alexander PETERSON (1881-1951) & Lillie True GATLIN (1884-1967). Born on 9 Jul 1906. At the age of 88, Alice Leona died in 1995. They had the following children:
Otha Lee Holladay and Alice Leona Peterson lived approximately three miles northwest of Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. 55. Jewell C. HOLLADAY. Born on 4 May 1909 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 89, Jewell C. died in Nashville, Tennessee on 18 Oct 1998. Buried in Oct 1998 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Jewell C. Peterson, 89,of Clarksburg, died Sunday, October 18, at the home of her daughter, Dorothy Hastings in Nashville. Services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 21, at 1 p.m., at the Clarksburg Church of Christ. Burial followed in the Sellers Hill Cemetery. Brother Bill Crossno officiating. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Peterson, the daughter of the late L.V. and Annie Petty Holladay, was born May 4, 1909, in Carroll County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Peterson, who died November 19, 1981; a son, James Wiley Peterson, who died in 1950; a brother, "Pete" Holladay, who died June 6, 1966; two sisters, Annie Bridges, who died April 25, 1996, and Bevie Jones, who died May 4, 1988; and two grandchildren. Besides her daughter, she is survived by two other daughters, Alice Gant of Ashland City and Mary Pritchard of Clarksburg; a brother, Richard Holladay of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Jewell C. married Albert Matthew PETERSON, son of James Alexander PETERSON (1881-1951) & Lillie True GATLIN (1884-1967). Born in 1903. At the age of 78, Albert Matthew died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 19 Nov 1981. Albert Matthew Peterson lived in the vicinity of Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
56. Richard G. HOLLADAY. Born on 26 Apr 1920. At the age of 82, Richard G. died in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee on 29 Apr 2002. Buried on 1 May 2002 in Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. Military: Richard Holladay served in the navy during World War II. Obituary: Richard G. Holladay, 82, died Monday, April 29, at his home in Chattanooga. He was born April 26, 1920, the son of Lucian and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Petty Holladay of Huntingdon. Mr. Holladay was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He served with the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor during World War II. He was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the McAllister Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife, Bettie Wilson Holladay; a daughter, Kellyann Holladay Reilly; and a granddaughter, Kaitlin Ann Robinson, all of Chattanooga. He is also survived by six nieces. Alice Gant of Chicago, Dorothy Hastings of Nashville, Mary Katherine Pritchard, Peggy Reed, Melba Johnson and Virginia Holladay Ellis, all of Huntingdon. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Otha (Pete) Holladay; and three sisters, Beva Jones, Jewell Peterson and Annie Bridges. Military graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Lanny Johnson officiating. Richard G. married Bette WILSON. They had one child:
57. Annie HOLLADAY. Annie died on 25 Apr 1996. Annie married Hobart BRIDGES, son of J.T. BRIDGES (1883-) & Zana ? (1882-). Born in 1911 in Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. They had the following children:
Hobart Bridges and Annie Holladay lived approximately four miles northwest of Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.
