On 12 Aug 1939 when Virginia Lee was 19, she married Wade Maurice DEVAULT, in Hollow Rock, Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 21 Sep 1917 in Eva, Benton County, Tennessee. At the age of 64, Wade Maurice died in Hollow Rock, Carroll County, Tennessee on 28 Aug 1982.

They had the following children:
385 i. Daniel Maurice (1943-)
386 ii. David Sherman (1951-)
387 iii. Mark Lee (1957-1999)
