230. Willa Dean HOLLOWELL. Born on 26 Sep 1916 in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Willa Dean died in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee on 29 Dec 1998. Buried on 31 Dec 1998 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Willa Dean Crain, 82, of Yuma, died Tuesday, December 29, 1998, at the home of her daughter, Alacia Breeden. Services were held on Thursday, December 31, at the Yuma Baptist Church. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery. Reverend Rufus Chandler and Reverend Tim Maness officiated. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Crain, the daughter of the late Walter Gray and Sarah King Hollowell, was born September 26, 1916, in Yuma. She was the widow of Leon Crain, a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and a retired teacher's aide for the Clarksburg Schools System. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Hodge, and a grandson, Jimmy Breeden. Besides her daughter, she is survived by two son-in-laws, Darrell Breeden and Charles Hodge, both of Yuma; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Willa Dean married Leon CRAIN. Born on 5 Mar 1913. At the age of 71, Leon died on 23 Apr 1984. Buried in Apr 1984 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

ii. Alice.

Alice first married George Waldon CRUM (458) , son of James L. CRUM (308) (1919-) & Lovie Elizabeth LEWIS (1923-). Born in 1945.

Alice second married Charles HODGE. Resided in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1999.
