At the age of 89, Thomas H. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 6 Sep 1921. Buried in Sep 1921 in Jamison-Darnall Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Thomas Jamison was living in house 1557, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee, in 1860. They had the following children:
61. Richard J. HILL. Born on 22 Feb 1842 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 50, Richard J. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 5 Jul 1892. On 9 Oct 1872 when Richard J. was 30, he married Martha F. ENOCHS, daughter of Gabriel V. ENOCHS (1823-1876) & Elizabeth V. ? (1843-1869), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 6 Dec 1854 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 55, Martha F. died on 16 May 1910. They had one child:
62. Meda HILL. Born in Oct 1845 in Tennessee. At the age of 78, Meda died in Apr 1924. Buried in Apr 1924 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in House # 1536, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. On 20 Dec 1866 when Meda was 21, she first married Beverly S. McAULEY, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1845 in Carroll County, Tennessee. They had one child:
On 7 Sep 1871 when Meda was 25, she second married James LESLIE, son of George LESLIE ( 1796-1853) & Sarah SIMPSON ( 1798-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1823 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, James died in 1882. Resided in Lived in house # 1533, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. James Leslie was a farmer, and some of his descendants say he loved to gamble. He and his father, George Leslie has adjoining land one mile west of Yuma, Tennessee. James Leslie's old house, made of log, is on the farm now owned by Milburn Morris's widow. Harriet Johnson Leslie and other kin are said to have been buried on the farm, but the graveyard has been plowed up and the tombstones and bricks marking the graves have disappeared. There were eight graves there, James's father George Leslie possibly being buried in one of them. In 1870 or 1871 James Leslie and family moved to Lake County, Tennessee, where they owned a farm near the Mississippi River. The flood waters of the river often inundated their land. It was there that he and his third wife had their three children. James Leslie died about 1881 or 1882 and is said to have been buried within a mile or two of Reelfoot Lake. His widow Meda and family moved back to Carroll County about 1882. They sent their household effects to Memphis by river boat for further transportation to Carroll County and they were lost, including the family bible (which accounts in some measure for the rather hazy records that have been confronted with in attempting to compose their family history). Meda Hill Leslie married again and lived until April 1924. They had the following children:
