On 27 Nov 1821 when Noah was 19, he married Dawsey RUST, daughter of Lemuel RUST & Nancy COOKE, in Orange County, North Carolina. Born in 1805 in North Carolina. Dawsey died in Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Mary P.. Born in 1823 in Carroll County, Tennessee.
ii. James Elvis. Born in 1827 in Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 11 Mar 1856 when James Elvis was 29, he married Beeda UMSTEAD, daughter of John Abraham UMSTEAD ( 1801- 1860) & Beady PARISH (1802- 1875). Born in 1827 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Beady".
39 iii. Winnie Ridley (1830-1901)
iv. Elizabeth A.. Born in 1831.

On 22 Dec 1846 when Elizabeth A. was 15, she married John PREWETT.
40 v. Noah (1833-)
vi. William H.. Born in 1834 in Carroll County, Tennessee.
vii. Walton H.. Born in 1836 in Carroll County, Tennessee.
viii. Sarah L.. Born in 1849 in Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 21 Mar 1868 when Sarah L. was 19, she married Joseph M. KING.

Thomas married Peggy ?.
