Family of Benjamin COZART (7) & Sallie REEVES

14. William P. COZART. Born in 1787 in Orange County, North Carolina.

On 29 May 1810 when William P. was 23, he married Dicey CARRINGTON, daughter of Ephraim CARRINGTON ( 1754-) & Pricilla DUKE, in Orange County, North Carolina. Born in 1788. At the age of 72, Dicey died in Person County, North Carolina in 1860.

They had the following children:
i. Robert Harrison. Born in 1812 in Orange County, North Carolina. At the age of 73, Robert Harrison died in Missouri in 1885.
ii. Jemima. Born on 22 Jul 1819 in Orange County, North Carolina. At the age of 57, Jemima died in Webster County, Kentucky on 1 May 1877.
iii. Charlotte. Born in 1831.
iv. Mary. Born in 1833.

On 20 Dec 1858 when Mary was 25, she married Bartlett BOWLS.
v. Dicey Carrington.
