First Generation

1. Anthony COSSART Junior. Born on 16 Aug 1712 in New Jersey. At the age of 67, Anthony died in Hampton's Mill Creek, Granville County, North Carolina in 1780.

In 1737 when Anthony was 24, he first married Wilhelmina HENDRICKSON, in Somerset County, New Jersey. Born in 1716 in New Jersey. At the age of 45, Wilhelmina died in Granville County, North Carolina in 1761.

They had the following children:
i. David. Born in 1734. At the age of 74, David died in Person County, North Carolina in 1808.
2 ii. Jacob (1737-1809)
3 iii. Anthony (1738-1800)
iv. John. Born in 1740. At the age of 34, John died in 1774.
4 v. James (1742-1805)
vi. Peter. Born on 6 Aug 1749 in Raritan, Somerset County, New Jersey.
vii. Elias. Born on 22 Sep 1751 in New Jersey.
viii. Simon.

In 1762 when Anthony was 49, he second married Nancy WILLIAMS. Born in 1734 in Granville County, North Carolina.

They had the following children:
5 i. Jesse (1764-)
ii. Joshua. Born in 1766 in Granville County, North Carolina.
iii. Jeremiah. Born in 1768 in Granville County, North Carolina.
