The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lois Butler Herlong and the late James Robert Herlong, Sr., of Saluda, South Carolina, and Modist Martin Smith of West Columbia, South Carolina, and the late Kernel Williams of Sally, South Carolina. She is currently attending the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, and will graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. The groom-elect is the grandson of Charlie Mae Francisco and the late Charles Edward Francisco of Huntingdon, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dorsey Leslie of Westport. Marshall was a 1997 graduate of University School of Jackson and graduated from the Georgia Institute Technology in August of 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is currently working in Belfort, France, for General Electric's Power Systems Division in their Operation Management Leadership Program. The wedding is planned for May 5th at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
