Obituary: Mr. William Lincoln Collins, 71, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Monday, March 18, 2002 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. at the Palestine Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Halters officiating the service. He is survived by two daughters, Vicky Hamilton of Lexington, Lisa Williams of Huntingdon; one son, Ronnie Collins of Huntingdon. He also leaves six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers who served were Rodger Lindsey, Roger Grant, Steve Allen, Clayton Haywood, Lyndin Morgan and Jim Thompson. Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Collins, the son of the late Daniel and Retha (Hedge) Collins, was born January 5, 1931, in Carroll County. He was a retired truck driver and believed in the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Collins. He is survived by two daughters, Vicky Hamilton of Lexington and Lisa Williams of Huntingdon; a son, Ronnie Collins of Huntingdon; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. On 3 Jul 1950 when William Lincoln was 19, he married Mary Butonne GRANT, daughter of Durward GRANT (1888-1980) & Lille Ethel BOYD (1901-1981). Born on 25 Aug 1934 in Tennessee. They were divorced. They had the following children:
112. Nelson Franklin COLLINS. Born on 18 Aug 1932 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 56, Nelson Franklin died on 19 Feb 1989. Buried in 1989 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. On 20 Dec 1958 when Nelson Franklin was 26, he married Doris Jean RICH. They had the following children:
113. Annie Lou COLLINS. Born on 5 Aug 1937 in Carroll County, Tennessee. On 4 Aug 1956 when Annie Lou was 18, she married C. W. MIDDLETON. Born on 1 Feb 1932. Alias/AKA: "Dwayne". They had the following children:
114. Sylvia Jean COLLINS. Born on 13 Nov 1944 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Tennessee Ridge, Houston County, Tennessee in 1999. On 24 Nov 1962 when Sylvia Jean was 18, she married Gene Elvis LESLIE, son of Willis Harold LESLIE (1919-1955) & Beatrice BURGESS (1918-), in Florence, Alabama. Born on 9 Nov 1944 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
