John Alfred LEDSINGER. Born on 12 Nov 1898 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 55, John Alfred died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 7 Jul 1954. Buried in 1954 in Palestine Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer and Blacksmith. Religion: Methodist. Cause of death: Heart attack.

On 19 Dec 1925 when John Alfred was 27, he married Verna Virginia McDANIEL, daughter of Samuel R. McDANIEL (1873-1955) & Jodie CONLEY (1873-1908), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 3 Mar 1907. At the age of 80, Verna Virginia died in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee on 29 Aug 1987. Buried in 1987 in Palestine Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Religion: Methodist. Cause of death: High blood pressure and stroke.

They had the following children:
i. Virginia Lee. Born on 18 Jun 1927 in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Virginia Lee died in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee on 18 Jun 1927.
