On 19 Aug 1923 when William Joseph was 21, he married Effie Mae LEWELLING, daughter of John Nelson LEWELLING (1854-1914) & Sarah Lucendia GURLEY (1869-1935), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1907 in Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Marcella. Born on 4 Jun 1928 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Marcella died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 4 Jun 1928. Buried in 1928 in New Liberty Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

iii. James Edwin. Born on 14 Oct 1931. At the age of 1, James Edwin died on 19 Feb 1933. Buried in Feb 1933 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Eron married Alonzo Dewey KELLEY, son of William John KELLEY (1855-1911) & Josephine Virginia LEWIS (1856-1912). Born on 4 Aug 1898 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 68, Alonzo Dewey died on 14 Nov 1966.

On 14 Oct 1923 when Minerva Tabitha was 17, she married Ira Washington LEWELLING, son of John Nelson LEWELLING (1854-1914) & Sarah Lucendia GURLEY (1869-1935), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1902. Resided in Gleason, Weakley County, Tennessee.

On 11 Jun 1965 when Barbara Francis was 22, she married John Lewis KELLER. Resided in Durango, Colorado.

On 31 Jul 1948 when Noah was 30, he married Martha Sue JENNINGS. Resided in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee.
