Obituary: Cora Sue Ashley, 71, of Humboldt, died Sunday, April 6, at Humboldt General Hospital. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Spain Cemetery with Bro. Robert Barger officiating. Pallbearers who served were Travis Bray, Josh Blankenship, Tom Blankenship, and Garland (Buckey) Moore. Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Ashley, daughter of the late Leonard Odom Stanford and Lillie Inez (Spencer) Stanford, was born on March 12, 1937, in Henderson County. She was a factory worker for the Henry I. Siegel Company and a member of the Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lee Ashley, who died in April 2004; and a brother, Leonard DeWayne Stanford. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Jean Bray of Cedar Grove and Jody Beth Blankenship of Medina; two sons, Tommy Dean Moore of Jackson and Timothy Duke of Cedar Grove; a sister, Elsie Mae Moore of Cedar Grove; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Buried on 28 Dec 2003 in Hickory Flatt Cemetery, Cedar Grove, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: HUNTINGDON - Garland D. Moore, 66, of Memphis, died Thursday at his home. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Dilday Funeral Home with burial in Hickory Flat Cemetery. He leaves five daughters, Barbara Hall and Beverly Rogers, both of Memphis, Shelly Selby of Danville, Ky., Garla Dawn Thomas of Cedar Grove and Charlotte Snead of Missouri; four sons, Douglas Fry of Florida, Garland Moore II of Cedar Grove, Barry Barber of Yuma and Jimmy Barber of Kentucky; two sisters, Teresa Chandler of Cedar Grove and Ramona Hendon of McKenzie, and 14 grandchildren. Obituary: MEMPHIS: Mr. Garland D. Moore, 66, died on Thursday, December 25 at his home. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 28 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ken Dyson officiating. Interment followed in Hickory Flatt Cemetery. Mr. Moore was born on October 7, 1937 to the late William Hall and Mollie Odell Douglas Moore. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Bethel Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jody Beth Moore. Survivors include five daughters, Shelly Selby of Danville, Kentucky, Garla Dawn Thomas of Cedar Grove, Barbara Hill and Beverly Rogers, both of Memphis and Charlotte Snead of Missouri; four sons, Garland D. Moore II of Cedar Grove, Douglas Fry of Florida, Barry Barber of Yuma and Jimmy Barber of Kentucky; two sisters, Teresa Chandler of Cedar Grove and Ramona Hendon of McKenzie and fourteen grandchildren.
