Family of Lucy Dicy Ann TAYLOR (179) & Leburn WALL Obituary: Services for Samuel Littleton Wall, 70, of Median were held Tuesday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home with Darrell Pollock officiating. Burial was in the Roan's Creek Cemetery. Mr. Wall died early Saturday morning at the NuCare Convalescent Center in Humboldt. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Verdie Edwards Wall; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy McGee and Mrs. Carolyn Lankford both of Huntingdon, Mrs. Darlene Bush of Jackson; two sons, Kenneth Wall of Jackson, Edward Wall of Milan and eight grandchildren. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge. Samuel Littleton married Verdie EDWARDS, daughter of Commodore EDWARDS & Martha WILLIAMS. Born on 8 Mar 1920 in Perry County, Tennessee. At the age of 83, Verdie died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 24 Jan 2004. Buried on 26 Jan 2004 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Mrs. Verdie Wall, 83 of Medina, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2004 at the Skilled Nursing Facility in Jackson. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, January 26, 2004 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Roans Creek Cemetery. Bro. Mark Simons will officiate the service. Ms. Wall was born March 8, 1920 in Perry County, Tennessee to the late Commodore and Martha (Williams) Edwards. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ, and loved flower gardening. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel L. Wall, who died in 1987. She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy (Jerry) McGee of Huntingdon, Carolyn (Charles) Lankford of Bruceton, Lorine Elliott and Darlene Bush both of Trenton, two sons, Kenneth Wall of Jackson and Edward "Ed" Wall of Milan. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. They had the following children:
