Family of Moses Dewit CARNAL (8) & Martha Jane JOHNSON

20. Sallie J. CARNAL. Born on 8 Feb 1891. At the age of 77, Sallie J. died in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee on 12 May 1968. Buried in 1968 in Blair Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 7 Feb 1920 when Sallie J. was 28, she married John Bunyan MEALS, son of Daniel James MEALS (1841-1931) & Eliza Parmelia NOLEN (1856-1937). Born on 10 Oct 1891 in Gleason, Weakley County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, John Bunyan died in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee on 1 Dec 1966. Buried in Dec 1966 in Blair Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer and Carpenter. Religion: Mud Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

John Bunyan Meals was a World War I veteran. He served with 101st Wagon Company, GMC in France.

They had one child:
