128. Willie Lee CAREY.

In 1935 Willie Lee married Elvia Lorene BURCHAM, daughter of Judge Chester C. M. BURCHAM & Dessie LANE. Born on 20 Feb 1914 in Dunklin County, Missouri. At the age of 88, Elvia Lorene died in Milan, Gibson County, Tennessee on 3 Jul 2002. Buried on 6 Jul 2002 in Latham's Chapel Cemetery, Gibson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Elvia Lorene Burcham Carey, age 88, died July 3rd at Milan General Hospital after a short illness. She was born February 20, 1914 in Dunklin County Missouri to the late Judge, Chester 'C. M.'' Burcham and Dessie Lane Burcham. She was educated at Bucoda Schools. In 1935 she married Willie Lee Carey and moved to Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sons, Lloyd Carey, James 'Jigg'' Carey, Joe Carey and a granddaughter, Peggy Sue Carey. She is survived by three daughters, Jewel Carey of Milan, Margie Beard of Lavinia, and Donna Higdon of McKenzie; two sons, Jessie Carey of Lavinia and Doyle Carey of Medina; two brothers, Lloyd Burcham of Plateau, MO and Verlon Burcham and a sister, Melba Gladhill, both of Medon. She is also mourned by twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a multitude of family and friends. Elvia was a gentle spirit, always concerned with the welfare of others above her own. She was a true Christian example, and a member of Bone Camp Church of Christ. She leaves a legacy of humility, faith, and love. A celebration of her life will be held at Latham's Chapel Baptist Church at 3:00 PM, today, July 6, 2002 with Brother Bob Ivy officiating. Burial will be at Latham's Chapel Cemetery.

v. Margie. Resided in Lavinia, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jul 2002.

vi. Donna. Resided in McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jul 2002.

Donna married ? HIGDON.
vii. Jessie. Resided in Lavinia, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jul 2002.
viii. Doyle. Resided in Medina, Gibson County, Tennessee in Jul 2002.

129. Arlie Grey CARY. Arlie Grey died in Mar 1978.

Arlie Grey married Dollie WALKER.

They had the following children:
i. Wilma. Resided in Camden, Benton County, Tennessee in 1999.
ii. Joy. Resided in Camden, Benton County, Tennessee in 1999.

iv. Edward.

130. Ollie Thomas CARY. Born on 3 Nov 1925 in Dunklin County, Missouri. At the age of 70, Ollie Thomas died in Milan, Gibson County, Tennessee on 1 Jan 1996. Buried in Jan 1996 in Oakwood Cemetery, Milan, Gibson County, Tennessee.

Ollie Thomas first married Vera Faye MOORE.

They had the following children:
i. Sandy Mae.
ii. Jimmy Don.
iii. Thomas Gene.
iv. Billy Ted.
v. Judy.
vi. Gail.

They had the following children:
