On 4 Oct 1924 when Selma Tritha was 19, she married Joe Millard CARPENTER, in Monette, Arkansas. Born on 13 Feb 1905 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. At the age of 69, Joe Millard died on 19 Apr 1974. Buried in Apr 1974 in Monette, Arkansas.

They had the following children:
i. Joe Henry. Born on 16 Oct 1925 in Monette, Arkansas.
ii. Jessie Mae. Born on 25 Apr 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri.
iii. Kenneth Carol. Born on 14 Dec 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri.
iv. Dallas Davis. Born on 22 Jan 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri.
v. Walter Allen. Born on 1 Sep 1941 in Salem, Illinois.
vi. Michael Lynn. Born on 4 Aug 1944 in Salem, Illinois. At the age of 38, Michael Lynn died on 18 Feb 1983.

110. Mary Pearl CARY. Born on 22 Nov 1917 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Resided in Hillsboro, Missouri.

Mary Pearl married John Milton ELS. Born in 1917.

They had the following children:
i. Milton Eugene. Resided in Hillsboro, Missouri.
ii. Robert Daniel. Resided in Hillsboro, Missouri.
