47. Valcour BURTON. Born on 24 Jun 1904 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 67, Valcour died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 29 Mar 1972. Buried in 1972 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Valcour married Henry WALL, son of Luther WALL (1883-1943) & Elizabeth PENDERGRASS (1882-1914). Born on 18 Mar 1906 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 64, Henry died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 24 Nov 1970. Buried in 1970 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

48. Charlie B. BURTON. Born on 27 Dec 1913 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, Charlie B. died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 29 Dec 1999. Buried on 31 Dec 1999 in Obion Chapel Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Religion: Rock Springs Methodist Church, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Charlie B. Rhodes, 86, of Cedar Grove, died Wednesday, December 29, at the Baptist Hospital Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Services were held on Friday, December 31, in the chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Obion Chapel Cemetery. Brother Robert Barger officiated the services. Pallbearers who served were Melvin Wall, Dwayne Daniels, Michael Tate, Danny Ross, Paul Thomas and Tommy Messner. Mrs. Ross, the daughter of the late Henry and Martha Milam Burton, was born December 27, 1913, in Henderson County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rock Springs Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Lois Olive, Ora Wesson, Hettie Lisenby, and Valcour Wall. She is survived by her husband, Grover Rhodes; a daughter and son-in-law, Athleen and Bill Daniels and Elizabeth and Euel Wiles, all of Nashville; a granddaughter and husband, K.B. and Carnell McAlister of Cedar Grove; and a great-granddaughter and husband, Brandy and Glynn Jones of Nashville.

Charlie B. married Grover Lee RHODES, son of Elmer RHODES & Tennie LUNSFORD. Born on 16 Sep 1911 in Decatur County, Tennessee. At the age of 88, Grover Lee died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 20 May 2000. Buried on 22 May 2000 in Obion Chapel Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Grover Lee Rhodes, 88, of Cedar Grove, died Sunday, May 20, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services were held on Monday, May 22, in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Obion Chapel Cemetery. Brothers Ernest Poinds and Tim Lunn officiated. Pallbearers who served were Will Pendergrass, Paul Thomas, Paul Taylor, Lee Hammers, Billy Alford, and John Hardy. Mr. Rhodes, the son of the late Elmer and Tennie Lunsford Rhodes, was born September 16, 1911, in Decatur County. He was a farmer and a member of the Obion Chapel Church of Christ, where he served as treasurer for over 30 years. His wife, Charlie Burton Rhodes, who died December 29, 1999, also preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elbadean and Bobby Barger of Cedar Grove; a sister, Lessie Williams of Eads; four brothers, Bill Rhodes of Cedar Grove, Alton Rhodes, Orville Rhodes and John Rhodes, all of Lexington; a granddaughter and husband, K and Carnell McAlister of Cedar Grove; and a great-granddaughter and husband, Brandy and Glynn Jones of Pegram.

They had one child:
