Family of Esperan BURNETT (3) & William S. FLAKE

8. Andrew L. FLAKE. Born on 9 Mar 1866 in Tennessee. At the age of 71, Andrew L. died in Tennessee on 3 Mar 1938. Buried in 1938 in White Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Andrew Littleton Flake died in the old first district near Wildersville, March 3rd., 1938. He was born March 9th, 1866, which makes his age 71 years. He leaves his wife, Mrs Millie PIERCEY Flake and three children, Mrs. Darcus Small and Mrs. Luella Woods and Paul Flake, all of near Wildersville. Rev. Mackey conducted the funeral services with interment in the White graveyard.

In 1891 when Andrew L. was 24, he married Mollie PEARCY, daughter of George C. PEARCY (1830-1899) & Dorcas MASSEY (1837-1917). Born on 2 Dec 1867. Buried in White Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
23 i. Rudolph Napoleon (1893-1920)
24 ii. Darcus (1896-1958)
iii. Josie. Born on 1 May 1897 in Tennessee. At the age of 1, Josie died in Tennessee on 27 Aug 1898. Buried in 1898 in White Cemetery, First District, Henderson County, Tennessee.
25 iv. Louella (1900-1988)
26 v. Paul A. (1902-1985)

9. William Hyson FLAKE. Born in 1868 in Tennessee. At the age of 86, William Hyson died in Tennessee in 1954. Buried in 1954 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Bill".

On 23 Jan 1898 when William Hyson was 30, he married Flossie MASSEY, daughter of George MASSEY (1858-1904) & Sarah Emma TILSON (1862-1890), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1881. At the age of 82, Flossie died in 1963. Buried in 1963 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Flora Emma. Born in 1899. Buried in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 24 Dec 1916 when Flora Emma was 17, she married William Patrick DERRYBERRY, son of Elijah Franklin DERRYBERRY (1867-1950) & Lranza Pearl WILSON (1876-1915), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 16 May 1898. At the age of 88, William Patrick died on 13 Dec 1986. Buried in Dec 1986 in Jones Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Will".
