Obituary: Services for Robbie Imogene Butler, 65, will be held at 1:00 p.m. today, December 18, 2003 at Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Butler Cemetery. Mrs. Butler died Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Myron Timothy Butler; son, Charles Michael Melton of Paris, TN and Tony Lee Melton of Orlando, FL; step-daughter, Carolyn Clark of Bruceton, TN; sister, Carol Waugh of Gleason, TN; brothers, Larry Shands of Huntingdon, TN, Darrell Shands of Buena Vista, TN, Ricky Shands of McKenzie, TN and Roger Shands of Huntingdon, TN; two grandchildren, four step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Obituary: Mrs. Robbie Imogene Butler, 65, died on Tuesday, December 16 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Leland Butler officiating. Interment followed in the Butler Cemetery. Mrs. Butler was born September 29, 1938 in Henderson County to the late Robert and Iris Blankenship Shands. She was an employee of the Thomas Bradford Shirt Corp. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Shands. Survivors include her husband, Myron Timothy Butler; two sons, Charles Michael Melton of Paris and Tony Lee Melton of Orlando, Florida; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Clark of Bruceton; a sister, Carol Waugh of Gleason; four brothers, Larry Shands and Roger Shands, both of Huntingdon; Darrell Shands of Buena Vista and Ricky Shands of McKenzie; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Robbie I. first married ? MELTON. They had the following children:
Robbie I. second married Myron Timothy BUTLER. 101. Jerry Wayne SHANDS. Born on 14 Apr 1940. At the age of 53, Jerry Wayne died on 15 Oct 1993. Buried in Oct 1993 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Jerry Wayne married Shirley BENNETT, daughter of Vernon Davis BENNETT (1909-1989) & Ava Jewell BELEW (1914-). Born on 21 Jun 1941. They had the following children:
102. Carol SHANDS. Resided in Gleason, Weakley County, Tennessee in Dec 2003. Carol first married ? BOBO. They had one child:
Carol second married Bobby Gene WAUGH, son of Joe WAUGH (1905-1997) & Ava Ethel HEDGE (1906-1998). Born on 23 Jan 1937 in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2001. 103. Oliver Darrell SHANDS. Oliver Darrell married Charlotte Sue TODD (122) , daughter of Charles Edwin TODD (59) (1923-1997) & Mary Sue GOOCH (1920-2002). They had one child:
