Woody and Betty lived about three miles west of Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee, on the Milan Road. Betty died from exposure after being pinned under lawn mower during the early evening. She remained under it and was found alive the next morning, but, the exposure to the weather was to much for her body to take. 57. Pearlie Mae TODD. Born on 9 Apr 1930. At the age of 73, Pearlie Mae died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 4 Nov 2003. Buried on 5 Nov 2003 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Mrs. Perlie Mae Bartholomew, 73, died Tuesday, November 4 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, November 5 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church in Yuma with Brother Phillip Halters officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bartholomew was born April 9, 1930 in Yuma to the late Henry E. and Josie Morgan Todd. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Floyd, Rosemary Floyd and Lavinia Hicks. Survivors include her husband, John Mack Bartholomew; two daughters, Myra Wilson and Janice Perry, both of Huntingdon; two stepsons, Johnny Bartholomew and James Sidney Bartholomew; one brother, Wilfred Todd of Huntingdon; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. On 3 Nov 1978 when Pearlie Mae was 48, she first married John Maxwell BARTHOLOMEW, son of James Lee BARTHOLOMEW (1880-1955) & Lillie WHITE (1886-1966). Born on 25 Nov 1920 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2000. Alias/AKA: "Mack". Military: Mac served in the Army in World War II in the African and European Region. No children produced from this marriage. Pearlie Mae second married ? BRUCE. They had the following children:
