227. James Alexander BRANDON. Born on 18 Apr 1852 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, James Alexander died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 28 May 1938. Buried in May 1938 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Alec".

James Alexander first married Arizona Eveline PHILLIPS, daughter of Nathan G. PHILLIPS (1828-) & Permelia Anne HOLLADAY (1836-). Born on 19 Jan 1860. At the age of 36, Arizona Eveline died on 15 Aug 1896. Buried in Aug 1896 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

They had the following children:

ii. Barton E.. Born on 9 Nov 1877. At the age of 21, Barton E. died on 11 Feb 1899. Buried in Feb 1899 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.
iii. John Nathan. Born on 14 Sep 1879. At the age of 1, John Nathan died on 24 Apr 1881. Buried in Apr 1881 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.
iv. Walter B.. Born on 23 Jul 1881. Walter B. died on 12 Sep 1881. Buried in Sep 1881 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

James Alexander second married Julia A. SIMPSON, daughter of William SIMPSON (1832-1890) & Henrietta Jane SELLERS (1841-1916). Born on 6 Dec 1872. At the age of 41, Julia A. died on 9 Nov 1914. Buried in Nov 1914 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

228. Lucy C. BRANDON. Born in 1854. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

On 6 Dec 1872 when Lucy C. was 18, she married Thomas SPRINGER, son of Thomas SPRINGER (1826-1849) & Zelpha Ann GULLEDGE (1829-1910), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1850. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

They had the following children:
i. Charles. Born in 1873.
ii. John P.. Born in 1875.
iii. L. Ellie. Born in 1879.
