126. John Tolbert TOSH. Born in 1881 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, John Tolbert died in 1963. Buried in 1963 in Clark Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

John Tolbert Tosh was orphaned in Texas and lived with relatives.

John Tolbert married Lillie Estelle TUCKER, daughter of Alexander Campbell TUCKER (1837-1901) & Martha Bell PALMER (1849-1906). Born on 1 Jan 1893 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 91, Lillie Estelle died in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in 1985. Buried in 1985 in Clark Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for Lillie Estelle Tucker Tosh, 92, of Nashville, were held Monday at Dilday Funeral Home, Huntingdon, Tenn. Burial was in Clark Cemetery, Huntingdon. Mrs. Tosh, a native of Westport in Carroll County, died Sunday in Nashville Health Care Center. Her husband, John Tolbert Tosh, a Huntingdon businessman, died in 1963. She was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. C.D. (Alice) Wilder, Nashville; three sons, John M., Huntingdon, Thomas E., Memphis, and Dr. Robert Tosh, Nashville; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

They had the following children:
i. Alice Belle. Born on 29 Jul 1913. At the age of 84, Alice Belle died in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in 1998. Resided in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in 1985.

Alice Belle (m. Cleo D. "Doc" Wilder MD of Paris TN later Sarasota FL, no children, d. 1998 Nashville) Alice was a graduate of George Peabody College for Teachers, taught in the Huntingdon and Paris TN schools before moving to Florida with her retired husband in the 1960s. She continued teaching in the Sarasota public schools before retiring herself and settling in the Nashville area until her death.


Alice Belle married Doctor Cleo D. WILDER. Cleo D. died in 1998. Alias/AKA: "Doc".
ii. John Martin. Born on 12 Sep 1917. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1985.
