Coleman Van BARTHOLOMEW. Born on 20 Sep 1923 in Beacon Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, Coleman Van died in Decaturville, Decatur County, Tennessee on 24 Dec 2003. Buried on 26 Dec 2003 in Dukes Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 27, Salem, Dunklin County, Missouri in 1930. Resided in Beacon, Henderson County, Tennessee. Occupation: Craftsman.

Coleman Bartholomew was characterized as a talented clogger.

Obituary: PARSONS - Coleman Bartholomew, 80, died Wednesday at Decatur County General Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Parsons Mortuary with burial in Dukes Cemetery. Mr. Bartholomew, the husband of Mary Bartholomew, also leaves two daughters, Ann Christenion of Richmond, Va., and Betty King of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Nina Watson of Parsons and Jessica Mason of Ripley, Miss., seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

On 12 Dec 1945 when Nina Sue was 17, she married Coy Lee WATSON, son of Oliver Esco WATSON & Amanda Ethel HAYS, in Corinth, Mississippi. Born on 1 Dec 1926 in Beacon, Decatur County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, Coy Lee died in 1997. Occupation: Machinist employed by Kimberly Clark in Memphis, Tennessee. Cause of death: Heart failure.

Military: Coy Lee Watson was a World War II Navy Veteran.
