Obituary: Ronald Hayes, 62, of Corning, Ark., died Saturday, September 29, 2001, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Hayes was born Dec. 23, 1938, in Knobel, Ark. He had lived in Corning for most of his life and was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Success, Ark. He worked for several years as foreman of Johansen Shoe Company and worked at Darling Store Fixtures in Corning for 15 years. He was retired. On October 23, 1961, he married Virginia Roofe in Corning. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Williams of Lake Charles, La; his mother, Maudie Elizabeth Hayes of Corning; two brothers, Donald Hayes of Fairfield Bay, Ark., and Jim Hayes of Corning; and one grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Ermert Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wayne Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Success. On 23 Oct 1961 when Ronald was 22, he married Virginia ROOFE, in Corning, Arkansas. 49. Larry HAYS. Born on 21 Sep 1949 in Poplar Bluff, Arkansas. At the age of 50, Larry died in Corning, Arkansas on 28 Mar 2000. Buried in Mar 2000 in Corning Cemetery, Corning, Arkansas. Obituary: Larry Hayes, 50, of Corning, Ark., died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at his residence. Mr. Hayes was born Sept. 21, 1949, in Poplar Bluff. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was employed as a machine operator at Harts of Arkansas. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the VFW Rapert-Poynor Post. On May 18, 1979, he married Michelle Renee Adams. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Nathan Hayes and Jeremy Hayes, both of Corning; two daughters, Stay Barajas of Flint, Mich., and Angela Moore of Corning; three brothers, Jim Hayes and Ron Hayes, both of Corning, and Don Hayes of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Corning Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Colbert officiating. On 18 May 1979 when Larry was 29, he married Michelle Renee ADAMS. They had the following children:
