Family of Samuel BOWMAN (14) & Mary Ann LOHR

26. Joshua BOWMAN. Born abt 1824 in Tennessee. At the age of 32, Joshua died in Tennessee in 1856.

Joshua married Sarah EASLEY. Born in 1822 in Kentucky. At the age of 49, Sarah died in Arkansas in 1871. Alias/AKA: "Sally".

They had the following children:
i. John. Born in 1845 in Decatur County, Tennessee.
38 ii. Simeon M. (1847-1899)
iii. Margaret M.. Born in 1848.

Margaret M. married ? WINDEN.

27. Pleasant G. BOWMAN. Born in 1839 in Tennessee. Resided in District 2, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in Madison County, Tennesseee in 1860.

On 12 Mar 1860 when Pleasant G. was 21, he married Mary SHERROD. Born in 1839. At the age of 81, Mary died in 1920.

They had the following children:
i. Laura Caroline. Born in Oct 1863 in Tennessee. Laura Caroline died in Arkansas. Resided in District 15, Hardeman County, Tennessee in 1870.

On 5 Sep 1878 when Laura Caroline was 14, she married William A. ALLEN, in Madison County, Tennesseee. Born in 1853. At the age of 68, William A. died in 1921.
