Family of Daniel B. BOWMAN (12) & Lucinda ?

17. Mary BOWMAN. Born in 1828 in Tennessee.

On 28 Jan 1844 when Mary was 16, she married Elisha S. STEVENS, in Perry County, Tennessee. Born on 5 Apr 1818 in Tennessee. At the age of 45, Elisha S. died in Perryville, Decatur County, Tennessee on 12 Jun 1863. Resided in District 7, Decatur County, Tennessee in 1850.

Elisha S. Stevens served two terms as postmaster in Perryville. His appointment dates were 27 June 1854 and 3 July 1857.

They had the following children:
i. John Felix.

ii. Joseph. Born on 12 Mar 1845 in Perry County, Tennessee. Joseph died in Perry County, Tennessee on 15 Mar 1845.

iii. William E.. Born on 3 May 1846 in Perry County, Tennessee. At the age of 24, William E. died in Florence, Laudaerdale County, Alabama on 8 Sep 1870.

iv. James. Born on 18 Feb 1849 in Perry County, Tennessee.

v. Thomas. Born in 1854 in Tennessee. At the age of 3, Thomas died in 1857.


18. Elizabeth BOWMAN. Born in 1830 in tennessee.

Child:
29 i. William Frank (1854-1938)

19. Rebecca BOWMAN. Born in 1832.

Rebecca married Mark EPPERSON. Born in 1829 in Tennessee.

They had one child:
i. Sophronia. Born in 1850 in Henderson County, Tennessee.
