Obituary: Allie Mae Meggs, 90, of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, August 21, at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odie Richard Meggs, on January 18, 1998. She is survived by a daughter, Nellovene Pollock of Huntingdon; two sons, Charlie Meggs of Huntingdon and Larry Meggs of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers, R.T. Lunsford and N.T. Lunsford, both of Lexington; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. They had the following children:
27. Bonnie Mae MEGGS. Born on 10 May 1913 in Decaturville, Decatur County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Bonnie Mae died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 22 May 1995. Buried in Moore's School House Cemetery, McNairy County, Tennessee. On 17 Oct 1936 when Bonnie Mae was 23, she married Virgil Lee MOORE, son of James Edgar MOORE (1871-1942) & Marrison Lillie REAVES (1876-1966), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 30 Jun 1903 in Bethel Springs, McNairy County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, Virgil Lee died in Huntingdon, Tennessee on 14 Jun 1989. Buried on 12 Mar 2002 in Davis Chapel Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Services for Mrs. Ola Beatrice Meggs, 86, will be at 2:00 PM today, March 12, 2002 at Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Meggs, a Homemaker, died Monday at Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center. Obituary: Mrs. Ola Beatrice Meggs, 86, died Monday, March 11 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Meggs was born March 3, 1916 to the late George and Pearl Baker Patterson in Decatur County. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and a homemaker. Her husband, Lonnie R. Meggs, who died November 14, 1979 and three brothers, Leslie Patterson, Leburn Patterson and Parker Patterson preceded her in death. Survivors include five sons, Ray Meggs, Johnny Meggs, Wayne Meggs, Randy Meggs, all of Huntingdon and Bobby Meggs of McKenzie; two daughters, Sara Glisson of Huntingdon and Debbie Bunn of McKenzie; one brother, Fred Patterson of Springfield, Illinois; three sisters, Earline Hammett, Lillian Sullivan and Willodean Davis, all of Huntingdon; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. They had the following children:
29. Nellie H. MEGGS. Born on 20 Jan 1919 in Decatur County, Tennessee. On 4 Dec 1937 when Nellie H. was 18, she married Leslie Mack RHODES, in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.
