On 5 Jul 2003 Brent Alan married Lauren Suzanne MIMS, daughter of John BRADSHAW & Teresa LANKFORD, in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Kyleigh Bonita. Born on 11 Dec 2003 in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

ii. Hunter Remington. Born on 18 Jul 2005 in McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee.


Marriage Announcement: Mr. and Mrs. Andy Brown of Huntingdon are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their niece, Lauren Suzanne Mims, to Brent Alan Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Scott of Clarksburg and the late Bonnita Waugh of Huntingdon. Lauren is the daughter of Teresa Lankford Mims, the sister of Joshua and Sarah Mims, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sammie Lankford, all of Huntingdon. Brent is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Scott, and Christine Pritchard, all of Clarksburg; and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Waugh of Huntingdon. The bride is a 2003 graduate of Huntingdon High School and is presently employed at the Jackson Country Club. The groom is a 2002 graduate of Clarksburg High School and is presently employed at Mark IV in Lexington. Wedding vows will be exchanged on Saturday, July 5, at 7:30 p.m. at Roan's Creek Church of Christ in Yuma. Music will start at 7:00 p.m. No invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony and reception immediately following the church.
