He first married Mattie Lee WHITESIDE, F, on 6 Sep 1888 in Monroe County., Kentucky. Born on 19 Aug 1865 in Monroe Co., Kentucky. Mattie Lee was 48 when she died on 18 Sep 1913.

They had one child:
569 i. Willet, F (1889-1976)

He second married Zula CARTER, F.
