He married Elvira Ann BATES, F, on 30 Jul 1840. Born on 20 Jun 1820. Elvira Ann was 68 when she died on 27 Jul 1888. Elvira Ann was buried in Gowenville Cemetary.

They had the following children:
i. Barbary Elizabeth, GG Granddaughter, F. Born on 6 Jan 1843.

ii. Thomas Marion, GG Grandson, M. Born on 26 Apr 1847. Thomas Marion was 76 when he died on 12 Feb 1924.

iii. Anthony Madison, GG Grandson, M. Born on 20 Jun 1848. Anthony Madison was 74 when he died in 1923.

He married Annie A. KING, F.

iv. Clarisa Rebecca, GG Granddaughter, F. Born on 14 Dec 1852.

v. Nancy Caroline, GG Granddaughter, F. Born on 25 Apr .

"Union County Heritage" 1981, #66. #751 states Thomas was in the first group
of deacons at the Jonesville Baptist Church. Headstone has Confederate Veteran

He married Nancy Catherine FINCHER (105) , GG Granddaughter, F, daughter of Jesse Parker FINCHER, M (1816-1898) & Mary Elizabeth ROBINSON (40), F (1815-1907), in Jan 1857 in Union County, South Carolina. Born on 15 Dec 1838 in Union County, South Carolina. Nancy Catherine was 90 when she died in South Carolina on 31 Jul 1929. Nancy Catherine was buried in Gilead Cemetery, Union County, South Carolina.

They had the following children:
i. Robert Jones, GGG Grandson, M. Born on 4 Dec 1857 in Union County, South Carolina. Robert Jones was 20 when he died in Union County, South Carolina on 3 Jun 1878. Robert Jones was buried in Gilead Baptist Ch. Cemetery, Union County, South Carolina.

Has Confederate Veteran on his headstone. I don't understand this because he
is not old enough. If the date on his stone is wrong, he couldn't be the son
of Nancy. She and Thomas were married in Jan 1857. Source: "Union County

He married Sallie WORTHY, F. Sallie died in Union County, South Carolina. Sallie was buried in Gilead Baptist Ch. Cemetery, Union County, South Carolina.

There were no dates in the Cemetery records. Inscription: Age 57 years.

Evidently Della married first to Mr. SPROUSE. The cemetery records show her
name as Della B. SPROUSE GALLMAN. Rosa and Miles had nine children.
