Donald married Marion CARDEN, daughter of Walter C. CARDEN (1897-1989) & Allie Lee ORR (1902-1987). Resided in Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee in Dec 2003.

They had the following children:
i. Peggy.
ii. Jimmy.
