Family of Thomas SPRINGER (11) & Zelpha Ann GULLEDGE

42. Burnetta SPRINGER. Born in May 1847 in Tennessee. At the age of 58, Burnetta died in 1906. Buried in 1906 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 31 Mar 1869 when Burnetta was 21, she married Scott PINCKLEY, son of Thomas Wood PINCKLEY (1812-1895) & Polly HOLMES, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1839 in Tennessee. At the age of 68, Scott died in 1907. Buried in 1907 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

Military: Scott served in Company G, 7th Cavalry (US) as a Sergeant in the American Civil War.

They had the following children:
i. Laura F.. Born on 3 Dec 1870 in Tennessee.
89 ii. Minnie L. (1876-1911)
90 iii. Unie (1879-1946)
iv. Ruth F.. Born in Sep 1880. At the age of 88, Ruth F. died in 1969. Buried in 1969 in Roans Creek Church Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.
91 v. Thomas Scott (1883-1943)
vi. Edna M.. Born in 1888. At the age of 90, Edna M. died in 1978. Buried in 1978 in Roans Creek Church Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Scott Pinckley and Burnetta Springer were living with Scott's father, Thomas Wood Pinckley, in the 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee, in 1870.

43. Thomas SPRINGER. Born in 1850. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

On 6 Dec 1872 when Thomas was 22, he married Lucy C. BRANDON, daughter of Barton W. BRANDON (1821-1869) & Sarah ROARK (1823-1900), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1854. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

They had the following children:
i. Charles. Born in 1873.
ii. John P.. Born in 1875.
iii. L. Ellie. Born in 1879.
