Family of Reuben Ezra BELEW (5) & Mary KYTLE

20. John Green BELEW. Born in 1839 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 26, John Green died in 1865. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

Died from starvation in military prison during the American Civil War.

On 9 Feb 1862 when John Green was 23, he married Susannah PHILLIPS, in Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had one child:
59 i. Ela Louise (1862-1948)

21. William Harrison BELEW. Born in Jan 1843 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

William Harrison first married Mollie Elizabeth MOORE, daughter of Albert MOORE & Sarah GOODEN. Born on 26 Aug 1857 in Kentucky. At the age of 21, Mollie Elizabeth died on 18 Dec 1878.

They had the following children:
i. Flora. Born in 1874.
ii. Bertha. Born in 1876.
iii. Lida May. Born on 19 Feb 1878. At the age of 14, Lida May died on 19 Sep 1892.

William Harrison second married Mary ?.

They had the following children:
i. Willie. Born in 1881.
ii. Mary. Born in Nov 1882.
iii. Chester V.. Born in Jan 1886.

22. Thomas BELEW. Born in 1853 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Thomas died in Williamsburg, Whitley County, Kentucky. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

Thomas married Susan BRAY. Born in Aug 1852 in McNairy County, Tennessee. Susan died in Williamsburg, Whitley County, Kentucky.

They had the following children:
i. Peter.
ii. Mary Elizabeth. Born in Jul 1886.
60 iii. Sarah M. (1890-1949)
