2. Jacob BELEW. Born on 1 Jun 1795 in Union County, South Carolina. At the age of 60, Jacob died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 25 Jul 1855. Buried in 1855 in Bennett-Belew Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

Jacob married Sarah WILBOURN, daughter of Ephrian WILBOURN & Elizabeth ?, in Union County, South Carolina. Born on 18 Mar 1792 in Union County, South Carolina. At the age of 80, Sarah died in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jul 1872. Buried in 1872 in Bennett-Belew Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

8 v. Thomas (1823-1875)
vi. Jasper W.. Born on 29 Oct 1825 in Tennessee. At the age of 86, Jasper W. died on 21 Jan 1912. Buried in Jan 1912 in Bennett Belew Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.
vii. Joseph N.. Born in 1826 in Alabama. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

Sarah Belew was living with son, Joseph N. Belew, during the 1870 Census, in 13th District, Carroll Count, Tennessee.
viii. James M.. Born on 14 Feb 1827. At the age of 18, James M. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 20 Aug 1845. Buried in Aug 1845 in Bennett-Belew Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

3. Ruth Elizabeth BELEW. Born in 1805 in South Carolina. At the age of 65, Ruth Elizabeth died in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in Oct 1870. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. Alias/AKA: "Ruthy".

The members of Mud Creek met at the home of Uriah Springer in August 1861. Ruth gave a hope, but probably due to bad health, was not baptized. The church records say that she was feeble to baptize in September 1861. However, her health must have improved because she was baptized at her home in October 1861. According to the church records, she died in October 1870.

On 3 Jul 1824 when Ruth Elizabeth was 19, she married Uriah SPRINGER, son of Dennis SPRINGER (1768-1842) & Margaret GOFORTH (1775-1851), in Lawrence County, Tennessee. Born in 1805 in South Carolina. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

Uriah and Ruth Belew Springer lived in house 1424, District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee, during the 1850 Census.

Lived in Henderson County, Tennessee, in 1830.

They had the following children:
