Military: Zachariah Belew received several wounds while serving in the American Revolutionary War. He
served in Brandon's Regiment.
Zachariah married Mary BULLINGTON. Born in 1781 in South Carolina. At the age of 58, Mary died in Lawrence County, Tennessee on 5 Apr 1839. Buried in Apr 1839 in Second Creek Cemetery, Lawrence County, Tennessee.

In 1814 when Samuel was 19, he married Mary BRYANT, in Union County, South Carolina. Born in 1798 in Union County, South Carolina. At the age of 81, Mary died in Gibson County, Tennessee in 1879. Buried in 1879 in Gibson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Polly".

Jane. Born in 1806 in South Carolina. Jane died in Arkansas.
On 5 Mar 1823 when Jane was 17, she married Jonathan SPRINGER, son of Dennis SPRINGER (1768-1842) & Margaret GOFORTH (1775-1851), in Lauderdale County, Alabama. Born in 1804 in Union County, South Carolina. At the age of 41, Jonathan died in Johnson County, Arkansas in 1845.
