161. George L. WILLIAMS. Born on 1 Jun 1913.

On 29 Jan 1934 when George L. was 20, he married Thelma Erin BRANDON, daughter of Henry Milton BRANDON (1885-1962) & Telitha JOHNSON (1887-1926). Born in 1912 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Baytown, Texas in Jan 2001. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

They had the following children:
i. Robert Lee. Born in Dec 1934.
ii. Kate Elizabeth. Born in Jun 1936.

Kate Elizabeth married Jack BEEBE.
iii. Freeda Montez. Born in Sep 1938.

Freeda Montez married Tommy REED.
iv. George L.. Born in 1941.
v. Jack Odle. Born in 1942.
vi. Wilburn Milton. Born in 1944.

In 1944, George L. Williams moved his family from Carroll County, Tennessee, to Jasper, Alabama. He resided in Walker County for 13 years. He then moved his family (three youngest sons) to Baytown, Harris County, Texas, in 1957. As of 1986, he and his wife still resided in Baytown. George was a heavy equipment operator and in 1967 went to the Persian Gulf with the Houston based Brown and Root Contractors as a Supervisor working on the oil pipe lines.
