136. Homer Floyd ROBERTS. Born in 1901 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Homer Floyd died on 8 Dec 1985. Buried in Dec 1985 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910.

Homer Floyd married Clara Elsie TODD, daughter of James Reed TODD (1884-1913) & Ollie Mae WILSON (1884-1963). Born on 26 Jan 1906. At the age of 93, Clara Elsie died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 4 Nov 1999. Buried in 1999 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for Mrs. Clara Elsie Roberts were Sunday, November 7 at Reed's Chapel with burial in Jones Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts who was 93, died Thursday, November 4, at Huntingdon Health and Rehab Center. She was a homemaker and the widow of Homer Floyd Roberts. She leaves two sons, Warren Roberts of Jackson and James Roberts of Wildersville; two brothers, John Allen McDaniel of Wildersville and Ray McDaniel of Yuma, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

They had the following children:
i. John Wilton. Born on 2 May 1925. At the age of 19, John Wilton died in Anzio, Italy on 31 May 1944. Buried in Aug 1948 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Pvt. John W. Roberts, son of Floyd and Elsie Roberts of Wildersville, was born May 2, 1925. He attended school at Cross Roads and Lexington. At the age of 18 he was inducted into service October 8, 1943. During this time he was stationed at Camp Blanding, Florida, where he received his basic training. He did not get a furlough, only a four day leave, then left for overseas duty the 18th of February 1944. The next news came that he had landed in Italy. Those who had loved ones in service know those anxious moments between letters to know if things were O.K. On the eighth of August, 1944, news was received that Pvt. John W. Roberts died of wounds received on May 31. He was in battle at Anzio near Rome. On July 1, 1948, news was received that his body had been shipped from overseas to his parents. The body arrived July 27 at Lexington, was carried to his parents, kept overnight and buried on July 28 of last week. The greatest honor that could be paid to a fellow comrade occurred with Old Glory draped over the vault with the burial in the Jones Cemetery near Wildersville. He leaves his parents and two brothers, Warren and James of Wildersville.
ii. Charles Warren. Born on 12 Sep 1927. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in 1999.

Served as the Sheriff of Madison County, Tennessee, for many years.

137. Troy Dayton ROBERTS Senior. Born on 26 Sep 1906 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Troy Dayton died on 3 Sep 1991. Buried in Sep 1991 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910.

Troy Dayton married Ethel TODD, daughter of Benjamin TODD Junior (1841-1912) & Margaret Evelyn PERRYMAN (1871-1938). Born on 16 Apr 1908. At the age of 62, Ethel died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 3 Jul 1970. Buried in Jul 1970 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

138. Virginia Gray ROBERTS. Born on 17 Jan 1909 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 79, Virginia Gray died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1989. Buried in 1989 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Alias/AKA: "Virgie".

On 17 May 1924 when Virginia Gray was 15, she first married Olgie Clifton SEGRAVES, son of Sidney J. SEGRAVES (1871-1942) & Minnie S. BUTLER (1874-1937), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 4 Jul 1894 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 64, Olgie Clifton died in Gleason, Weakley County, Tennessee on 21 Jul 1958. Buried in Jul 1958 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Sidney Lee. Born on 30 Jun 1925. Sidney Lee died in 1925. Buried in 1925 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Virginia Gray second married Henry Deamons MILLER, son of Charles MILLER (1860-) & Lonnie HOLLOWELL (1877-). Born on 15 May 1900. At the age of 88, Henry Deamons died on 8 May 1989. Buried in May 1989 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 14, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. They were divorced.

139. Claude Ellis ROBERTS. Born on 30 May 1912 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Claude Ellis died on 25 Oct 1987. Buried in Oct 1987 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer.

Claude Ellis first married Lothy ?. Born on 15 Aug 1916. At the age of 55, Lothy died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 25 Dec 1971. Buried in Dec 1971 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Claude Ellis second married Kathryn LEWIS, daughter of Orvie LEWIS & Lizzie ?. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Jul 2004.

140. Elmer Odine ROBERTS. Born in 1914. At the age of 81, Elmer Odine died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1995. Buried in 1995 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Occupation: Brick Mason.

On 9 Aug 1930 when Elmer Odine was 16, he first married Gertrude EPPERSON. Born in 1914. At the age of 68, Gertrude died in Henderson County, Tennessee in Jan 1982. Buried in Jan 1982 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Girtie".

Girtie stated she would like to be buried on a day that it was snowing. She got her wish. It came a large snow on the day that she was buried. In fact, the only way to get to the cemetery was by four wheel drive truck.

ROBERTS (1872-1954) & Minnesota AZBILL (62) (1874-1918). Born on 1 Jun 1914 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Lonie B. died on 13 Apr 1997. Buried in Apr 1997 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920.
