Family of John Warren RINGOLD Senior (13) & Mary V. FESMIRE

66. Samuel F. RINGOLD Senior. Born on 3 Aug 1881 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, Samuel F. died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 5 Jul 1941. Buried in Jul 1941 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

Obituary: Dies in Wildersville: Samuel F. Ringold was born in Henderson County on August 3, 1881, and died at his home in Wildersville on July 5th, 1941, aged 59 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was baptized at Stray Leaf by Bro. J.W. Johnson in 1898. He gave his services for several years in conducting song services for many churches. He had served as rural mail carrier, retiring in 1934. Since that time he has given a great deal of his time to developing Kaolin mines. He was married to Nona Beecham in 1906, and to this union were born Miss Eula Mae Ringold, Mrs. Laelaleigh Ringold Page and J. Sam Ringold. His greatest aim in life was the education of his children. Funeral services were conducted at the Wildersville Church by Elder Fred Chunn, minister of the Church of Christ in Henry, Tennessee, who was assisted by John W. Jarrett, minister of the Church of Christ at Wildersville.

In 1906 when Samuel F. was 24, he married Nona BRECHEEN. Born on 10 Jul 1882. At the age of 87, Nona died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 12 Feb 1970. Buried in Feb 1970 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Eula Mae. Born on 25 Oct 1907 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Eula Mae died in Madison County, Alabama on 11 Apr 1983. Buried in Apr 1983 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.
ii. Laelaleigh. Born on 7 Jun 1913 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 15 Apr 1938 when Laelaleigh was 24, she married James Herschel PAGE, son of Reverend John Rowland PAGE (1865-1948) & Helen Elizabeth KENNEDY (1865-1952), in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Born on 14 Feb 1899. At the age of 80, James Herschel died on 6 Jul 1979. Buried in Jul 1979 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Former County Court Clerk of Henderson County, Tennessee.
iii. J. Sam. Born on 10 Mar 1915 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

67. Margret Luda RINGOLD. Born on 16 Oct 1884 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, Margret Luda died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 20 Jan 1972. Buried in Jan 1972 in Antioch Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

On 13 May 1902 when Margret Luda was 17, she married James Wiley RHODES, in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 4 Jun 1866 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, James Wiley died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 27 Feb 1953. Buried in Feb 1953 in Antioch Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Samuel H.. Born in 1906 in Henderson County, Tennessee.
ii. Ethel V.. Born in 1908 in Henderson County, Tennessee.

68. Hattie V. RINGOLD. Born in Jan 1887 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 72, Hattie V. died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1960. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

On 8 Nov 1908 when Hattie V. was 21, she married John Sherman FESMIRE, son of John Washington FESMIRE (1855-1938) & Amanda Jane CUNNINGHAM (1859-1932), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1885 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, John Sherman died in 1960. Buried in 1960 in Antioch Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

160 iii. Raymond Warren (1923-2003)

69. Myrtle V. RINGOLD. Born in 1892 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Myrtle V. died in 1967. Buried in 1967 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

On 30 Jul 1911 when Myrtle V. was 19, she married James WILLIAMS, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1888. At the age of 81, James died in 1969. Buried in 1969 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
161 i. George L. (1913-)
ii. Iva Mae. Born on 30 May 1915 in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, Iva Mae died in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee on 8 Sep 2000. Buried in Sep 2000 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Never married.

Obituary: Iva Mae Williams, 85, of Memphis, died Monday, September 4, at her home of heart failure. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 8, at Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Don Reidhimer officiated. Burial followed in the Sellers Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Robert Williams, George Williams, Wilburn Williams, Tommy Reid, Jack Beebe, and Jim Smothers. Miss Williams, the daughter of the late James and Myrtle Ringold Williams, was born May 30, 1915, in Clarksburg. She was a retired employee of the Publix Shirt Corporation and the Milan Arsenal. She was a member of Highland Street Church of Christ and a former member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. She is survived by a sister, Lucy Williams Brown of Memphis, Kate Beebe of San Antonio, Texas, and Frieda Reid of Adamsville, Alabama; four nephews, Robert Lee Williams of Jasper, Alabama, George L. Williams of Deerpark, Texas, and Jack Williams and Wilburn Williams, both of Baytown, Texas, and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
