Obituary: Mrs. Bettie Blankenship, wife of J.D. Blankenship, was born in Henderson County July 9th, 1867, a daughter of the late M. Azbill, and her death occurred February 12th, 1929, in her home six miles south of Lexington. She is survived by her husband and several children.

Clarence E. Azbill was a Baptist Preacher. He preached at Old Hepzibah, West of Lexington on Sand Ridge Road.

On 15 Sep 1904 when Clarence Everett was 21, he married Annice Elizabeth ROWLAND, daughter of Robert ROWLAND & Mary WILSON, in Brookport, Illinois. Born on 7 Jun 1885 in Paducah, Kentucky. At the age of 76, Annice Elizabeth died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 4 Feb 1962. Buried in Feb 1962 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Will Emmett Clarence, son Rev. Clarence and Mrs. Annie Roland Azbill, was born in Lexington, August 8, 1909, and died last Sunday in a hospital at Harrisburg, Illinois, where he had been carried for a possible operation from his home at Carrier Mills, Illinois. Will Emmett had undergone an operation for appendicitus in Paducah last November and had not regained his health. He was here with his father about six weeks ago and after the visit seemed improved. The remains reached Lexington Monday at 6:40 p.m., and were carried to the of Mr. F.J. Azbill on Clifton Street and there remained until Tuesday afternoon when interment occurred in Lexington Cemetery, Rev. Fleetwood Ball officiating.

46. Luther Lee AZBILL. Born in 1888 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 67, Luther Lee died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1955. Buried in 1955 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 27 Oct 1907 when Luther Lee was 19, he married Roxy Ardell PETERSON, daughter of Jessie Calvin PETERSON (1858-1922) & Rebecca Ann SMITH (1855-1919), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 14 May 1888 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, Roxy Ardell died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 20 Mar 1970. Buried in Mar 1970 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Ardell".
