Martha Jane first married Andrew Jackson WOODS, son of Henry Clay WOODS & Sally Ann MANESS. Born on 14 Oct 1899 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 63, Andrew Jackson died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 26 Mar 1963. Buried in Mar 1963 in Central Grove Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Edgar Ray. Born on 27 Oct 1943. At the age of 52, Edgar Ray died in Lake Butler, Union County, Florida on 15 Nov 1995.
