210. Azlee PATE. Born on 24 Dec 1940.

In 1958 when Azlee was 17, she first married Doyle Elwyn PENDERGRASS, son of Lewis Augdon PENDERGRASS (1894-1978) & Edith Adell LAWS (1905-1998). Born on 29 Dec 1937 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 56, Doyle Elwyn died in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee on 26 Sep 1994. Buried in Sep 1994 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Burns, Tennessee. Religion: Baptist.

Obituary: Mr. Doyle Elwyn Pendergrass, 57, formerly of Carroll County, died Friday, August 26, at his home in Nashville. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, August 28, at Dilday Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Hampton Cemetery. Brother Robert E. Hammer officiated. Mr. Pendergrass, the son of Edith Adell Laws Pendergrass, of Atwood, and the late Lewis Augdon Pendergrass, was born December 29, 1937, in Carroll County. He was Data Clerk with ADT Company, and was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He is also survived by his wife of 36 years, Azlee Pate Pendergrass; a daughter, Shannon Pendergrass of Nashville; one son, Steven Pendergrass of Kingston Springs; two sisters, Margie Perkins of Lavinia and Robbie Pendergrass of Memphis; one brother, Will Pendergrass of Memphis. He also leaves two grandchildren, Brittany and Trevor Pendergrass.

They had the following children:
i. Shannon Leigh. Born on 14 Aug 1960. Resided in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in Aug 1994.
294 ii. Steven Doyle (1965-)

Azlee second married Billy Fay BRANDON, son of Clyde Robert BRANDON (1903-1973) & Iva PHILLIPS (1907-1998). Born on 16 May 1933. Resided in Westport, Carroll County, Tennessee.

211. Vonita PATE.

Vonita married William GANT, son of Alvin GANT & Maggie AUSTIN.

They had the following children:
i. Charlotte.

Charlotte married Joseph Daniel FOSTER, son of James FOSTER & Virginia Mae WILLIAMS (1925-). Born on 2 Oct 1947. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1980. Alias/AKA: "Danny".

Danny and brother, Daniel, owned the International Harvester tractor dealership in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee, in the 1970s.

Danny and Charlotte had no children.
